For over 40 years youth hockey players in New England have gathered in Groton, MA from December 26th through December 30th to play in the annual Tourney In The Woods. The event has grown to one of the largest youth hockey tournaments in the region. The tournament provides an opportunity for Tier II, Tier III, Tier IV, and Tier V teams at the 8U (Mite), 10U (Squirt), 12U (Peewee), and 14U (Bantam) levels to compete in one of 19+ divisions grouped by skill. The goal of the tournament is to provide a FUN experience for all players. Everyone involved in the tournament strives for parity in every division to give every team a chance in every game. It’s not always perfect, but it is getting better every year. The tournament staff is committed to working with every team to make the holiday week a positive memorable experience.
